Beya's primary responsibility is handling client bookings, making sure every appointment is scheduled efficiently and everything is in place for a successful shoot — whether that's coordinating with clients directly or managing the studio's internal calendar.

Alongside bookings, Beya is involved in content creation, crafting copy for the website that keeps the studio's online presence fresh and current — including several of the guest posts on this blog. She's also the go-to person for client queries, whether that's clarifying what a session includes or working through a concern before a shoot.
Beya is also trained in editing software for both video and photography, which is a genuine benefit for clients: post-production happens in-house rather than being outsourced.

Beyond her work at the studio, Beya is a working actor, and brings that creativity and feel for storytelling to every shoot she assists on. In her own time she dances, plays music and writes poetry — all of which feed into how she reads a room during a session.
So the next time you're in touch with Dock Street Studio, say hello. Whether you have a question, need assistance, or fancy a natter, she's always up for a chat.
A note from Beya
"Working alongside Mark has been nothing but a joy, and it's opened my eyes to a lot within the creative industry. I've dabbled in several different roles — assisting on shoots, helping out with post-production editing — and being at Dock Street has genuinely allowed me to grow, both as a person and as a professional. I look forward to seeing what's next. Pop over and say hello :)"
